Hello dear reader,
The last few days brought me back to an old, familiar space — the middle of the night, lying awake, with a brain that won’t stop spinning.
For years, I used to wake up in the night, overwhelmed with thoughts I couldn’t control. Worrying about things I had no influence over…
running endless scenarios…
fighting with my mind, instead of resting my body.
One night, it hit me:
I can’t protect myself from every experience.
I can’t do anything about what tomorrow brings — especially not at 3 AM.
But I can rest.
And I can prepare — through sleep — to face whatever comes.
With that message, I began convincing my spinning mind — and ego — to let go.
And little by little, night after night, they stopped bothering me.
Sounds illogical… but it worked.
Just today, I woke up again — this time from a worry related to one of my investments.
But instead of letting it spiral, I took a breath, meditated, and went for a walk.
Maybe it wasn’t insomnia.
Maybe it was just a gentle call: “Wake up now… it’s time to return to yourself.”

➔ A Holistic Look at Insomnia Through Chinese Medicine
In this post, I share a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective on insomnia — looking at it not as a disorder to fight, but as a message from within.
From Shen to Liver-Hun, from emotions to energetic imbalance… healing our sleep begins with understanding what’s truly being disturbed.

One tool that helped me five years ago to take real action and start making conscious shifts in my life was Lifebook by Mindvalley.
It helped me zoom out and reflect on every part of my life — not just career or health, but purpose, emotions, spirituality, and relationships.
It was the mirror I didn’t know I needed.

It’s not magic. But it’s powerful — if you’re ready to ask honest questions.
✨ Soft Reflection
What is your body trying to tell you
when the mind won’t stop spinning?
What are you avoiding…
that’s quietly asking to be seen?
Sometimes, insomnia isn’t the enemy.
Sometimes, it’s the awakening.
